Overall a good family holiday, with my 5 children ranging from 4-20 years old. The hotel is up a hill and the apartments are spaced out going down towards reception/ beach. There is an onsite shuttle that can take you to your room, free of charge. There are two pool areas, one near the beach and one higher up the hill, which worked well for us, as our room was higher up. There were always pool loungers available any time of day, which was good for August. The hotel seem quite quiet, although it seemed full, maybe due to the size of the land. The rooms are nice, not very modern but clean and spacious with good size balconies, I think there were newer rooms though. The shower was powerful and there was a hob, toastie maker and kettle. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water and tea/coffee in the room when we arrived as it was late but they do not provide that, but they did provide a cold plate of food as we had missed dinner. The hotel was clean and well maintained, with helpful staff. We were half board and found the breakfast more like a 3 star, ok if you like every variety of eggs, but missing some items and choice. Dinner was better, everyone found something they enjoyed, and the meat gyros were good. The beach is tiny and covered in sea weed, although on the last two days it was cleared, which made it much nicer. The town of Roda can be accessed along the beach or by land. It’s not a very traditional town, it’s mainly restaurants, but the supermarket is good and you can book car/boats and excursions there. The beach walk is much easier and quicker! There isn’t much entertainment in the hotel, just 1 Greek night, no kids clubs or activities. We hired a car for 2 days and visited Corfu town and some of the beaches on the west and east cost, like Kalami and Paleokastritsa. It was definitely worth getting the car as the beaches we visited were amazing. We also hired a boat from Roda for the day which was nice. Corfu is a beautiful island and worth discovering, I wouldn’t stay in Roda again because I think there better beaches, but it was quiet and the hotel wasn’t too busy so a good base.

We were pretty happy with the hotel overall. Nice rooms, good food, decent pools, always free sunbeds, and helpful staff. Just missing a few small things – faster internet and some seating options in the restaurant without A/C.

The hotel is in a lovely spot, you do have to walk along the beach front to get to Roda town. There was literally no other English people there but we had a nice time. The hotel is in a lovely spot, you do have to walk along the beach front to get to Roda town. There was literally no other English people there but we had a nice time. You do have to pay for a safe and every time you want to change your beach towels. We had bed and breakfast, the food isn’t great and the ‘hot food’ is lukewarm warm. The rooms are very clean, not deluxe but adequate.

We arrived to a friendly welcome from the reception staff- a lovely area and the reception staff were always very helpful We were told the groom would take us up to the room with our suitcases, which was really appreciated as we were up a bank in the Pistachio area room 317. We were told if we ever needed a lift, just phone 9 and the service would pick us up but we didn't use them again until the day we left and they collected us and our cases. Super service. A lovely room, spotless, absolutely spotless for the whole of our holiday. A huge balcony with views to the upper pools and across the sea to Albania. The balcony had a large table with 4 chairs, a swing chair and a wall clothes airer. The room was quite modern ( a deluxe room), a fridge, dining table & chairs, a small hob, kettle, coffee maker, toastie machine and utensils etc. The bathroom was nice with a shower in the bath, they provide shower gel and soap in a pump bottle. The bedroom had a dressing table, side cabinets, a huge wardrobe and plenty of drawers plus an air conditioning unit, very comfortable beds. The safe was €16 for 10 nights, great price. One of the big pluses are the mosquito screens on the windows and patio doors. The hotel grounds were cleaned every morning by the friendly housekeepers, we had no issues with cleanliness. The pool areas were lovely as was the pool bar at the top ( though I would have preferred the music a little quieter, my preference). We sat mostly at the lower part of the top pool. We also went to the pool near the reception but you could hear the hotel next door a bit more there. The lower pool was a few steps away from the sea, lovely, safe, shallow water. There is a shop, a bar and restaurant there, we didn't eat there but the service for drinks was excellent. The restaurant: we only went B&B which we're thankful for. Though there was plenty of choice, the hot food was warm if you were lucky, which spoiled our enjoyment. Lovely, attentive, friendly staff though. On the last day, we checked out early but we still used the hotels facilities and we ate in the restaurant in the evening just before leaving (€23 each, we ate well but found the food lacked quality). We couldn't keep our room but were told we could shower in the fitness room, which we appreciated * note there is no hairdryer there but there is one in the ladies toilets by the reception* We walked to town most evenings as there are some amazing restaurants and bars, along the beach it's about 15 minutes walk but it was rocky and sometimes the sea had come right in, very handy though (take a torch) or we walked the road way which is lit but it's a very steep bank!. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, the peace and quiet, the convenience of the town and the friendly service from ALL the staff, thank you for an enjoyable holiday.

“A not so good experience at robolla”

The room was clean but with old furniture. The food was horrible. The location wasn’t that great and the sea was full of algae. The atmosphere was good, as well as the service. It was quite expensive for what it offered.
