Situated central to resort very quiet tucked away down an alley beside the supermarket. Pool all one depth approx 1.4m deep with a small pool which is great for a cool down if you can’t swim. Apartments very clean with the best beds, walk in shower and small kitchen area with a microwave combi oven. Bar run by Eliana a very pleasant and funny lady with a wicked sense of humour. Everything you need on your doorstep bars, supermarket and restaurant just outside. Rooms cleaned every day to a high standard recommend.

Stayed here for a week with friends and loved our stay! The hotel has clearly had a lot of money spent on it and it looks great! Really nice pool area and bar that serves food and good drinks! Balconies on the rooms are huge and come with a table and chairs. The rooms themselves are really clean, and the cleaner comes round daily to give the rooms the once over. Comfy beds, lots of utensils etc in the kitchen and a great shower in the bathroom! The room is also decorated to a really high standard! The host is fabulous! Really friendly and has lots of information about the local area, car hire, places to visit and taxis etc! Will definitely visit again and reccomend to anyone!

We booked last minute holiday to Crete with Tui, having seen the good ratings for Del Mar in Stalis. We weren’t disappointed with the accommodation, which is located in the centre of Stalis just off the main road running through. It’s a well appointed studio apartment, part of a modern, recently constructed block. It had a clean tidy bathroom with shower (no bath), small kitchenette with double hob, a microwave combi oven/grill, a full sized fridge with a small freezer section that kept our ice cubes frozen all week. There’s two of all crockery and cutlery, pans to cook with. Would have expected to find a chopping board, and be provided with a tea towel, but we just left our washing up to air dry. There’s a decent kettle, a toaster, an electric coffee filter machine and a sandwich toaster. In the living area, there’s a dining table, a couple of chairs, we had two single beds together to make a king size bed which we found comfortable. There’s a bedside light and drawer at each side. Our balcony wasn’t overlooked, and had a table and two chairs, there’s also a clothes airer. Maid service is daily, they do a quick clean around, make the beds (we had a mid stay linen change) towels changed every other day. Outside there’s a set of sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool for guests to use. We didn’t try the pool as it felt too cold. The bar wasn’t open at all during our stay, presumably as the apartment block wasn’t fully occupied. I believe it’s a family run business and they also own the adjacent supermarket where you collect keys and pay for extras, such as the safe (€21 per week) and Air-con (€30 per week - we didn’t use as it the temp didn’t get over 25/26°). They’re all very helpful!! October is at the very end of the season and you can tell that Stalis is just starting to wind down, but there’s plenty of Greek/Med restaurants and tavernas, loads of souvenir shops, supermarkets and more car hire shops than I’ve seen in any resort. The accommodation can be booked through tour operators, and portals such as Booking.com, but May be booked directly with the owners. We had a great time in our week there, and would recommend for anyone wanting a week away just to relax.

Stayed here last year and loved it so decided to make another visit for a week with family in September! I stayed in a standard studio which is located in the separate building next to the supermarket, whilst the rest of my family had booked the superior studios which are located in the main building. I found my apartment to be spacious, cool, modern and comfortable. Also being right on the strip, the room was very quiet which was a pleasant surprise! I stayed in the main building last year and those rooms are also lovely! With upgraded decor etc. A little closer attention to detail with the cleaning would’ve been better as the sink/hob area felt greasy so I did have to give it a bit of a scrub. The hotel has a lovely pool area that gets the morning sun that continued well into late afternoon. There’s plenty of sunbeds and it’s a lovely relaxing area, especially being so close to the main strip - the location is fabulous! I did however notice the area between the water and pool ledge was a bit sticky and brown so that will need a scrub off (you can see the colour contract on the tiles when the water splashes out the way) However you do always see the staff cleaning the glass of the hotel, trimming the lawn and the flowers and generally keeping the place well looked after. My only really criticism is that the bar area is very dead. During the week I stayed it was only open twice, despite the menus and signs being out. It’s a lovely little area with seating and a canopy (as well as lots of things on the menu) so having someone running this permanently so it’s open during the day and into the evening would really be a welcome addition to what is already a lovely place :)
