“Outstanding stay in the apartment”

One of the best stays we've had in a hotel absolutely brilliant. We stayed in the 2 bed apartment which had the view of the sea from 3 sides which was stunning. We were blessed with good weather and sat out in the seating area which was exclusively for the apartment most days (watch out for seagulls!). The staff are so professional and friendly and dealt with a kitchen fan problem which was based on our apartment very professionally. The food was top class and the Picpoul white wine definitely worth trying! Parking - if you park at the top "main carpark" up the hill there is a shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes to and from the centre which is a 30 second walk to the Haveners. We left the car over the weekend and renewed our parking on the Just park app everyday without leaving the pub! All in all fabulous and the apartment had absolutely everything you need for a good stay including, towels, dressing gowns and all kitchen utensils etc. Thank you so much Haveners.

“Bit slow but nice location”

The board says Wait here to be seated by a member of staff. Err, ok but where are the staff! Anyway finally get seated then wait 15 minutes for 2 coffees. Nice location though either way views over the water.

“A disappointment - rewrite the menu truthfully”

We had a drink here on Monday and the booking lady told us that if we wanted to eat there on Tuesday we must book as they were so busy. We duly did. We had a drink here on Monday and the booking lady told us that if we wanted to eat there on Tuesday we must book as they were so busy. We duly did. That was an exaggeration; the place was half empty. We chose the pub because it was my birthday and I thought I'd enjoy the whole baked on the bone Newlyn catch of the day which was first on the menu. When I asked what fish it was I was told it was 3 fillets of different fish -not a whole baked fish at all! I was annoyed as one of them was haddock which I don't like and so was the fish and chips. I am allergic to crab and lobster so couldn't have those so chose the risotto. That was delicious as was the Eton mess so the place turned out to be OK but not as it had described itself.
