“OK for 2 nights stay”

Booked this hotel via agoda, stayed 2 nights in April 2016. It is a very big hotel. The building is modern, the room was kind of old. It is a typical Chinese hotel, not suitable for western style. The location is good, lots of eating places around. The service was basically met the requirement.

Stayed here for 3 nights. It's located slightly far away from center of the city, but it's relatively easy to get to everywhere in Dalian from here with taxi. Stayed here for 3 nights. It's located slightly far away from center of the city, but it's relatively easy to get to everywhere in Dalian from here with taxi. The room is average, but I really liked taking morning strolls at the park nearby that had a beautiful river. They did fail to register my residence with the authority, but they were able to provide a written and stamped proof of residence that I was able to use to get residence permit in China.

“OK - Probably quite grand in its time!!!!”

This was booked by a local Chinese and it is a Chinese hotel. It has seen better days and the price reflects this! My first room was not to my satisfaction as i wanted a non smoking one so i was moved to another one and it was huge with 2 beds and a very dated sofa. The heating has not been turned… Mais

This was booked by a local Chinese and it is a Chinese hotel. It has seen better days and the price reflects this! My first room was not to my satisfaction as i wanted a non smoking one so i was moved to another one and it was huge with 2 beds and a very dated sofa. The heating has not been turned on so it was quite chilly!! It was all OK but i was glad it was just one night. I left early so no idea what breakfast was like. On checkout the receptionsist was very surly as she had been woken up to check me out and not very good at english!!!!

“Good but not best”

Good situation because not far from the center (8yuan in taxi) and very near of the tramway and train station. The personnel is very kind and do the best for help you. Some of them speack in English, it's not so bad !!! Very very disappointed of the breackfast. It's written 10am but we went at 9:30… Mais

Good situation because not far from the center (8yuan in taxi) and very near of the tramway and train station. The personnel is very kind and do the best for help you. Some of them speack in English, it's not so bad !!! Very very disappointed of the breackfast. It's written 10am but we went at 9:30 and nothing to eat (me, my wife and 6 others). I complain and 1 guy said to me that it was normal ! Finally, I asked bread, fruits, orange juice, yaourt, ... but that; it is not normal (the other chineses was happy to see something to eat!). Breakfast tables were very dirty. For the room, it was the honeymoon room and it was almost ok (a little bite dark compare to the picture). For sleep, a lot of noise the morning due to the door (we somebody closed its) The conclusion is not so bad, maybe a little expensive compare to the general quality.
