Os utilizadoresde Hôtel La Grande Lanière opinam que: We had a fantastic holiday staying at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and very helpful and definitely added to a lovely experience. 💚 Reception A very helpful, informative and friendly reception when we first arrived. Charline the receptionist was fantastic, very professional, super helpful and speaks perfect English (as our French is only mediocre). We also booked directly with the hotel and Charline helped us to complete the booking. Once again she was super helpful and very efficient. 💚 Breakfast We only ate breakfast on our first morning. Because we prefer to ski on an empty stomach and eat later in the day. But the breakfast was amazing, lots of choice, everything was fresh and the area to sit is beautiful. 💚Relaxation/communal areas The fire was lit every evening and the lighting is ambient and relaxed. The areas are well thought out with soft furnishings and the vibe feels cosy and chic. Perfect to relax after a days skiing. 💚 Rooms The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable, designed with the same kitsch retro ski vibe. The only negatives are the amount of shelves to put clothes. As I don’t like to live out of my suitcase. And in the room we had, the space for the toilet was ridiculously small. The shower was very good, nice and powerful with plenty of hot water. If I stayed again I would also bring my own pillow because they were of bad quality and not supportive or comfortable. But everything else about our stay was so perfect it didn’t matter. 💚Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had planned to eat in Les Gets but we had dinner at the hotel on our first night and it was fantastic. So good in fact that we ate there every evening. The service was great, super friendly and attentive. And the food was delicious. We would recommend the half a chicken (you can tell this is good quality meat) and the duck was also incredible. We also tried the Caesar salad and the tartiflette which were delicious also. They also sell Affligem Amber beer on tap as well as a blonde beer. And the wine list is very good too. I would personally recommend the Mâcon white wine. They also sell snacks through the day and do lunches. The food is very good quality. 💚Access to ski area The hotel location is perfect for skiers of every level. There is a Poma button lift directly outside the hotel. And a short ski distance away is the Perrières lift. Which also has a motorised toboggan place next to it. We want to try on our next visit. The perrieres ski slope was also our favourite to ski at the beginning and end of each day. Lovely snow, normally quiet, and a nice wide undulating run. We would normally go up and down 3 times in the morning before going anywhere else. Access to the rest of the resort is easy to navigate and the resort itself is great. One of our favourites. 💚Parking There was parking available outside the hotel. 💚Ski lockers The hotel is definitely ski in ski out. Which for me is always a bonus. The lockers are at the back of the hotel and each room has its own lockable locker. With boot warmers and places to put skis and gloves. 💚Ski hire There is a ski shop literally around the corner. So very easy to hire anything necessary. Overall very good and we wish the owners and staff a very good season.

“Lovely hotel and restaurant with a retro kitsch ski vibe”

We had a fantastic holiday staying at this hotel. “Great value ski-in-ski-out hotel”

We had a fantastic stay at La Grande Laniere, and couldn't recommend this hotel enough.
